With the hard work of 23 operational teams and 19 affiliate sites, Saskatoon Health Region has successfully completed its 2007 Accreditation cycle. Accreditation is a voluntary part of our ongoing aim to enhance the safety, outcomes and other aspects of the quality of our care, one of the goals within our strategic plan.
The 67 recommendations identified by the surveyors will guide our work ahead and bring clarity to our efforts across the Region. While this report showcases our many achievements and successes, its real value is in its support for learning and improvement work. This work will help us build a more integrated health system and a stronger structure for ongoing monitoring and reporting to the people we serve.
