Welcome to the Region's Children's Hospital of Saskatchewan (CHS) home page. This is an exciting, new project for Saskatoon Health Region that is becoming a reality through the commitment and hard work of many different people and agencies.
CHS is a provincial hospital. It will provide much needed health care services to children, their mothers and their families from every corner of Saskatchewan. Planning for this hospital began many years ago through discussions between the Region, patients, families, staff, physicians, the Ministry of Health, University of Saskatchewan and Children's Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan.
In order to better inform people of the project's progress staff information sessions were held in Saskatoon, Regina and Prince Albert in October 2009. A CHS newsletter was distributed at these sessions, a copy of which can be obtained by following th elink below.
