- The plan will be reviewed annually during the current three year cycle and revised as necessary.
- At the end of each year, there will be an evaluation of the process used in the past year.
- An updated environmental scan, past successes and lessons learned will inform the annual review/revision of the plan.
- During the current three year cycle, we will concentrate on integrating the financial plan, quality activities and the strategic plan.
- The planning process will remain participatory, with increasing participation from front line staff.
- The plan will continue to align with the Provincial strategic directions for health.
- Successes will be celebrated and communicated widely.
- Revisions to the plan will be communicated annually.
- The plan may change during the year if there are significant environmental changes.
Over time:
- Staff in the region will become more skilful at integrating operational plans with the strategic plan.
- Tools will be provided to assist staff at all levels of the organization in choosing priority activities and saying no to those activities that are lower priority.
