1. The plan will be reviewed annually during the current three year cycle and revised as necessary.
2. At the end of each year, there will be an evaluation of the process used in the past year.
3. An updated environmental scan, past successes and lessons learned will inform the annual review/revision of the plan.
4. During the current three year cycle, we will concentrate on integrating the financial plan, quality activities and the strategic plan.
5. The planning process will remain participatory, with increasing participation from front line staff.
6. The plan will continue to align with the Provincial strategic directions for health.
7. Successes will be celebrated and communicated widely.
8. Revisions to the plan will be communicated annually.
9. The plan may change during the year if there are significant environmental changes.

Over time:

1. Staff in the region will become more skilful at integrating operational plans with the strategic plan.
2. Tools will be provided to assist staff at all levels of the organization in choosing priority activities and saying no to those activities that are lower priority.
