Saskatoon Health Region Completes Accreditation Cycle
 With the hard work of staff and physicians from over 30 sites, including affiliates, and numerous programs and services, Saskatoon Health Region has successfully completed its 2010 Accreditation cycle, receiving Accreditation with Condition. Accreditation is a voluntary part of our ongoing aim to enhance the safety, outcomes and other aspects of the quality of our care, one of the goals within our strategic plan.
The report provides valuable feedback about what we are doing well and where we need to improve, relative to national standards of excellence. Many strengths and areas of innovation are highlighted throughout the report and surveyors recognized that staff, physicians, and volunteers are a key strength of this organization.
The report also contains suggestions where improvements can be made to improve quality and safety. This will inform and influence our ongoing quality improvement plans and budget decisions as we move forward.
