Our Clinical Perfusionists
We are a four-person team that supports nearly 500
adult open-heart surgery cases a year. Working side-by-side with
cardiovascular surgeons and other medical and nursing professionals,
the Clinical Perfusionist prepares, operates and maintains the
heart-lung machine and other ancillary devices in the operating
theatre during cardiac surgery.
