Therapeutic Recreation Specialists provide our
services with the support of a Professional Leader for the discipline.
Therapeutic Recreation Specialists work with in-patients, outpatients,
and clients within the community and residents in facilities
and agencies across the region.

We are a team of about 25 which includes our
Recreation Therapists, Therapeutic Recreation Programmers
and a Manager, serving our patients as part of various interdisciplinary
teams.

Recreation Therapists provide a unique service
that facilitates the development, maintenance, growth and
expression of a satisfying and appropriate leisure lifestyle
through functional intervention, leisure education and recreation
participation.

To Join our Exciting Team of Recreation
Therapists You Must
-
Have a diploma in Therapeutic Recreation or
a Baccalaureate degree in Recreation with a specialization
in Therapeutic Recreation.

Be eligible for membership in the Saskatchewan
Association for Recreation Professionals. (Membership in the
Canadian Therapeutic Recreation Association (CTRA) is recommended).
