Saskatoon is home to the Canadian Light Source synchrotron, the world’s fourth most powerful synchrotron light source. This facility lies at the heart of Saskatoon's impressive scientific research and development infrastructure at the University of Saskatchewan and Innovation Place Research Park. The Saskatoon region is also seeing a large increase in productivity in the science and technology, manufacturing and food processing industries.
Saskatoon remains one of the most affordable major centers in Canada. The average price of a home in the Saskatoon Region is $225,000 compared to over $300,000 in Calgary and Edmonton, $365,000 in Toronto, and $390,000 in Vancouver. The cost of living in Saskatoon is well below the North American average due to low utility, healthcare, and housing costs. Saskatoon has a low crime rate, auto insurance is one of the lowest in Canada and traffic is excellent. You can drive to work in about 15 minutes from anywhere in the city. The city experiences four distinct seasons with mean temperatures ranging from highs of 25 degrees Celsius (77 Fahrenheit) in July to lows of -23 degrees Celsius (-9 Fahrenheit) in January.

WE OFFER:
- Salary range of $31.47 to $33.71 per hour
- Fifteen paid vacation days per year as well as 17 earned days off (in rotation)
- A generous relocation allowance including temporary living expenses of up to $1000.00
- Benefits are per the current SEIU/SAHO Collective Agreement and include pension, disability income, group life and extended dental and health care plans
