Employee Referral Program
Saskatoon Health Region wants people like you!!
The Employee Referral Program is an initiative which provides
referral rewards for those members of our staff, physicians,
and registered volunteers, who
are able to help us recruit health care providers into difficult to recruit
positions.
We realize that many of us know a number of other health
care professionals who are currently not working in health
care in Saskatchewan and we also realize that word-of-mouth
is often an effective way of identifying recruits. Accordingly, Saskatoon
Health Region will pay up to $1000.00 to existing employees,
physicians, or registered volunteers for every referral that
leads to the hiring of a new employee, or physician, in a
high demand position. These positions are either
Permanent or Temporary (minimum duration of twelve months).
Casual employment opportunities are not eligible.

What happens once the Employee Referral Program Application

The application form will be date stamped and after Human Resources determines
the nominee’s occupation is a “Referral Payment Approved” profession,
Human Resources will log it. Human Resources will then contact the nominee
to confirm their interest and will request a copy of their resume/employment
