Welcome Onboard Week (WOW) is a 2.5 to 3 day general orientation program that you attend on your first day of employment with Saskatoon Health Region.
Throughout WOW, you are involved in a variety of interactive activities, workshops and presentations that connect you to the Health Region and assist you to feel more confident on your first day. You learn about the Region’s “big picture”, including the various programs, services and departments within the organization.
WOW informs you about the expectation of quality service delivery and patient centered care. It covers a variety of legislated and regulated topics and provides the opportunity to meet other new employees and build relationships before starting your new role.
