(SASKATOON) November 3, 2001 -- Young patients
at the Royal University Hospital's Pediatric Ward enjoyed a once-in-a
lifetime treat today when they visited with top Canadian Figure
Skaters who are in town to compete at the 2001 MasterCard Skate
Canada International. The visit was led by reigning 2001 World and
Canadian Pairs Champions, Jamie Salé and David Pelletier,
along with other members of Canada's National Figure Skating Team:
Annabelle Langlois and Patrice Archetto, Canadian Bronze Medallists
in Pairs; and Megan Wing and Aaron Lowe, 2000 Canadian Dance Silver
Medallists.
"The kids were thrilled and excited about meeting their favourite
skating stars in person," said Maralyn Friesen, Manager of

skaters taking time from their busy schedules to bring smiles to
their little faces."
