(SASKATOON) March 16, 2005 – Saskatoon Regional Health Authority will hold its regular public meeting on Wednesday, March 16, 2005, in the Imperial Room, Saskatoon Centennial Auditorium, beginning at 2 p.m.
Items on the agenda for the meeting include:
Contract Award for Hip and Knee Implants – The Health Region will recommend the Authority approve the awarding of a contract for the purchase of hip and knee implants.
Emergency Services Bi-Monthly Report – An update will be provided to Authority members on progress made on the recommendations included in the Ohlhauser Report on the “Integration of Hospital Emergency Services in Saskatoon Health Region” and the College of Physicians and Surgeons “Review of Emergency Charts selected by SHR”.
Population Health Promotion – The Authority will receive information on the Health Region’s plans to promote population health in SHR.
Infectious Diseases - Health Status Report – Dr. Cory Neudorf will present the recommendations included in the Infectious Diseases chapter of the 2004 Health Status Report and ask the Authority to endorse those recommendations.
