(July 5, 2006), Saskatoon – The Saskatoon Health Region has lifted the emergency boil water order for the Town of Duck Lake.
The town has repaired and flushed the affected water lines. There is no contamination present in water samples submitted for testing.
"The factors that caused the issuance of the order have been rectified and tests on the water supply detect no more contamination," said Dr. David Torr, Deputy Medical Health Officer for the Saskatoon Health Region. "Residents no longer need to boil their water before drinking or using the water in other ways."
