(Tuesday, September 19), Saskatoon – A public meeting of the Saskatoon Regional Health Authority will take place Wednesday, September 20, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in Saskatoon at Estevan Room, Hilton Garden Inn (90 22nd Street E).
Items that will be reviewed and discussed by the Authority include the following:
Surgical Services – Surgical Services will provide the Authority with its annual update, reporting on continued decreases in surgery waiting times and an increase in number of operating room hours in the 05/06 fiscal year.
Smoking Policy – The Authority will vote on the recommendation to approve a change in the Region’s smoking policy.
Client Representative Report – The Client Representative Annual Report will be presented to the Authority.
Dental Health Screening Report – Public Health will present the findings of the 2003-2004 dental health screening survey and bring forward the resulting action plan that responds to recommendations in the Health Status Report 2004.
Performance Monitoring – The Regional Health Authority will review its financial statements for the four-month period ending July 31, 2006.
