Tuesday, May 16 – A public meeting of the Saskatoon Regional Health Authority will take place Wednesday, May 17, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in Watson at the Watson Motor Inn.
Items that will be reviewed and discussed by the Authority include the following:
Performance Monitoring – The Regional Health Authority will review and approve its audited financial statements for the year that ended March 31, 2006. The Saskatoon Health Region (SHR) ended the fiscal year with a $5-million surplus, an amount that represents 2.8 days of operations in the Region.
Approval of Policies – Policies regarding Authority meetings and the Audit and Finance Committee will be reviewed and approved.
Humboldt Redevelopment Project – Board members will hear a progress report on the Humboldt Health Services Redevelopment Project.
Report of the President and CEO – Maura Davies will report on, among other topics, continued planning for the children’s hospital within a hospital and the development of a physician resource plan.
