- 4.5 Curie generator – Arrived Tuesday Morning January 5th - Sunday Calibration
- 5.0 Curie generator – Arrived Tuesday Afternoon January 5th - Sunday Calibration
Week of January 11th – January 15th 2010
Isotope Shipment:
- 7.5 Curie generator – Expected Tuesday Morning January 12th - Sunday Calibration
- 10.0 Curie generator – Expected Tuesday Morning January 12th – Sunday Calibration
Normal Shipment:
- 17.5 Curie Generator – 10.0 Curie Generator delivered Sunday evenings
- 7.5 Curie Generator delivered Monday evenings

No Nuclear Medicine examinations postponed / not scheduled the week of January4th – January 8th 2010 due to the shortage of Radio Isotopes.

Medical imaging staff continue to reschedule patient examinations on a weekly basis. We appreciate the patience of those affected. The Health Region encourages anyone with a scheduled nuclear medical imaging appointment to continue to make plans to make that appointment unless they hear otherwise. Nuclear medicine imaging staff will contact those patients who have had their examination postponed.
Total Postponements to date - due to Isotope shortage:
- 336 Bone scan studies
- 6 MUGA – cardiac studies
- 13 Renal studies
- 8 Cardiac studies
- 10 Hepatobiliary studies
- 3 Hemangioma studies
- 1 lymphoscintography study
- 1 Gastric Empty study
- 2 Lung VQ scans
- 6 parathyroid studies
- 3 GI bleed studies
Total Postponement now completed:
- 191 Bone scan studies
- 6 MUGA – cardiac studies
