The Saskatoon Family Support Centre
offers prevention and intervention
programs designed to strengthen families
by promoting non-punitive, respectful
parenting approaches and reinforcing
non-violence in all relationships. Programs
and services include the Domestic Abuse
Outreach Program (DAOP) which offers
voluntary services that consist of: Crisis
and short-term counselling; Weekly
drop-in educational and support groups;
Advocacy and referrals; Practical assistance
- transportation and child care may be
provided; Accompaniment to domestic
abuse-related appointments; Teen education
on dating violence; Support groups designed
