Watrous Hospital is an integrated facility that supports acute,
respite and long term care. Watrous Hospital was built in 1988
and has a lovely open area with a variety of plants that give
it a relaxing atmosphere. Watrous Hospital has a staff of 60
people. The hospital has 14 beds. Admitting
To be admitted into hospital, please report to the Business Office
located at the front entrance to the hospital.
Television Service/Telephones/Radios
A television may be installed in your room, depending on availability.
There is no charge for this service.
A payphone is located at the front entrance by the Business Office
for use by patients and visitors. Patients may bring their own
radio.
Newspapers/Reading Materials
The Star Phoenix is delivered daily. The Watrous Manitou is delivered
weekly. They are located at the nursing station.
Visits by Clergy
The Ministerial Association conducts regular visits to patients.
A register of patients is kept in a folder for the clergy to
look at when they come to visit.
Patient Meals
The kitchen is not open to patients or visitors. Meals will be
delivered to your room at the following times:
- Breakfast – 8:00 a.m..
- Lunch – 12:00 noon
- Dinner – 5:00 p.m.
Coffee, soda and snack vending machines are located in front lobby
of the hospital.

Watrous Hospital staff wishes to serve you in the best way possible
and would like to hear your comments about the care you received.
A questionnaire is located in the lobby. Please complete the
questionnaire, or have a family member complete it for you,
and leave it in your room when you leave the hospital. Telephoning a Patient
Family and friends wishing to speak to a patient may call the nursing
station at (306) 946-1210. Calls can be taken at an extension
closest to the patient’s room.
Patients may make arrangements directly with SaskTel at (306)
310-7253 to install a phone in their room.
