In December, 2002, Mental
Health Services and Addiction Services
were joined in a partnership as one care group under one general
manager. Mental Health and Addiction Services
is one of several care groups that are coordinated and organized
within the Saskatoon Health Region.
Addiction Services provides a continuum of cross-cultural services
including detoxification, outpatient and residential services.
Services are provided to chemically dependent adults, youth, and
their families using the Saskatchewan
Model of Recovery as a guide.
Problem gambling programs are also provided on an outpatient
basis.
