The services of the Chronic Pain Centre (CPC) are provided by an interdisciplinary team. This approach ensures that clients receive all the services they need in a coordinated way, and that the team and client are working towards the same goals. The current research shows this interdisciplinary approach is more effective than unimodal treatment.
Each member of the team has a unique role:
Program Manager
The Program Manager is responsible for the overall administrative functioning of the Chronic Pain Centre.
Medical Director
The Medical Director is responsible for the overall medical direction of the Centre. The Medical Director oversees all medical consultations, provides direction, and mentoring support. The Director is integral to the strategic direction and related budget planning for the Centre. The Director also provides the peer to peer communication link with external medical partners.
Interdisciplinary Team Physician
