PERSONAL CARE HOMES
Client Patient Access Services (CPAS) can assist you in identifying
your care needs to help you in your choice of a Personal
Care Home.
A Personal Care Home is a private business that provides accommodation,
meals and supervision or assistance with personal care to adults
in a residential, family-like atmosphere.
Personal Care Homes are licensed by Saskatchewan
Health under
the authority of the Personal Care Home Act.
The Personal Care Home Directory lists all the homes within the
boundaries of the former Saskatoon District Health. To obtain a
copy, call CPAS at (306) 655-4346.
Access to a Personal Care Home is arranged between you and the
operator. On admission, the client or family will complete an admission
agreement with the operator outlining in detail the care the person
requires and the cost.
Cost: The rates will vary in each Personal
Care Home. Costs should be discussed with the operator.
