COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER SERVICES
Within the City of Saskatoon there are a number of community services
delivered by volunteers. These services are designed to enhance
the life of the individual.
Access to Community Volunteer Services is through Client
Patient Access Services (CPAS).
These services include:
- Meals on Wheels – provide individuals,
who for health reasons, would benefit from a daily meal. Costs – Provincially
determined and may be adjusted according to increases in OAS/GIS/SIP.
- Transportation – to assist individuals
who do not have anyone to accompany them to medical and related
appointments.
- Shopping and Errands – to assist individuals
who do not have anyone to help with these tasks.
All services (except Meals on Wheels) depend upon the availability
of volunteers.
