Who are we?
- Our team of public health nurse specialists and physicians have advanced training in International Travel Medicine. Let us help prepare you for your trip. We offer comprehensive travel health services.
Travel Services Include:
- client information package, which includes fact sheets common to most travellers. Click here to view or print contents.
- individual, family or group teaching and counselling regarding all travel health issues, including malaria prevention
- immunization with all recommended/required vaccines
- provision of health documentation and certification required for international travel
- prescriptions for anti-malarial medications
- up-to-date printed information about health risks associated with your specific destination and your health status
- travel related sales items such as Permethrin impregnated bednets.
In addition to travel services, we also offer vaccines for people who do not qualify for free vaccines through the provincially funded programs. The following vaccines are available for purchase by individuals or businesses:
How do I know what vaccines are recommended?
- Vaccine recommendations vary depending on the area of the country you will be staying in and the activities you will be undertaking.

When should I call for an appointment?
- Appointments should be made two months prior to departure. However, it is never too late to benefit from travel education and vaccines.
What will it cost?
- The cost will depend on the individual vaccines or prescriptions recommended.
- Many private insurance companies may reimburse you for the cost of these vaccines.
