- Emergency patients always take priority over non-urgent cases.
- Elective procedures (X-Ray/Fluoroscopy, Computed Tomography,
Ultrasound, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Nuclear Medicine and Bone
Densitometry) are booked according to prioritization criteria,
equipment and booking availability.
- General x-rays (chest, bone x-rays) should be done during working
hours (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday).
- appointments are not required;
- patients are done in the order they arrive and as the x-ray
rooms become available;
- patients who come for x-rays outside of the hours listed
above may be required to wait as there is reduced staff on
evenings, weekends and nights and emergencies always take
priority;
- urgent and emergency cases are done as soon as possible;
and
- general x-rays can be done in many private clinics located
in Saskatoon.
