General Nursing Orientation-Acute Care
- All new employees attend Welcome Onboard Week (WOW).
- All nurses attend a general nursing orientation which covers various patient care related information and includes certification in some special nursing procedures (RN/GN) and added skills (LPN).
- Unit Specific orientation is provided following the general nursing orientation and consists of classroom instruction as well as "buddy shifts." Length of unit specific orientatio9n varies.
