Public Health offers information on health topics to schools to include in their newsletters. Our newsletters are 100 - 150 words in length and in point form. An exception to this are articles on diseases which may be longer. This will allow the school to include in their newsletter at any particular time throughout the year when the specific health issue is a concern at the school. Inserts may also be printed as a separate tearsheet to distribute to parents, if needed.
Public Health's goal is to provide accurate information on health topics in a timely manner. If you have any questions, or comments on how to improve the newsletters, please call (306) 655-4620. You can also email comments/suggestions to kathleen.schimnowsky@saskatoonhealthregion.ca or brenda.allison@saskatoonhealthregion.ca to forward to the School Health Committee.
