The Saskatchewan Epilepsy Program is a comprehensive program that cares for adult and pediatric patients with epilepsy. In-patient and out-patient services are located at Royal University Hospital (RUH) where there is a dedicated bed for telemetry.
The RUH also has a 1.5 Tesla MRI for high resolution epilepsy studies used in the pre-surgical work up. Brain surgeries, WADA tests, motor and speech mapping and vagus nerve stimulation are also performed here, ensuring comprehensive care for those with epilepsy.
