Parkridge Centre is a Long Term Care Facility located on the west side of Saskatoon. It is home to over 240 residents ranging in age from Preschool to over 100 years of age. Parkridge Centre is a heavy care facility and many residents require specialized care.
There are six resident neighbourhood living areas. Individuals with common care needs are selected for the neighbourhood which best provides for those needs.
In addition to the Long Term Care Programs, there are also some short stay programs including:
- Geriatric Enablement Unit
- Emergency Respite
- Planned Respite
Parkridge is also home to the Community Day Program where clients who live in the community come to Parkridge for the day to receive support services to help them remain in the community.
Volunteers at Parkridge Centre are involved in a variety of programs, all which are designed to improve the quality of life for the residents.
