What Do I Need To Do To Prepare?
Wear comfortable clothing, with minimal snaps and zippers as these articles will need to be removed. CT examinations may be performed during the day or evening, please check your appointment times carefully.
CT Angiography (any body part)
- Nothing to eat or drink for four (4) hours prior to the procedure
- Diabetic patients may have juice up to one (1) hour before the procedure if necessary to regulate their diabetes.
- Continue all medications as usual
- Arrive at the Admitting Department ½ hours (30 minutes) prior to your appointment time.
- Due to unforeseen emergencies, your CT scan may be delayed.
