Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) is located at Royal University Hospital on the 3rd floor of the 1978 Building in Saskatoon.

PICU is a specialized unit for babies and children up to the age of 17 years who are critically ill.. PICU staff and physicians provide constant care, observation and specialized monitoring and therapies of our patients. We are also here to support families of critically ill children and teenagers during what is a difficult and emotional time.

The Importance of Clean Hands

Frequent hand washing, especially after coughing and sneezing, helps protect your child. Please feel free to ask staff, doctors, visitors or anyone else if they have washed their hands, prior to them interacting with your child.
