Arriving at Hospital - Parking

Short-Term Parking Stalls for Labouring Women

If you are in labour, we have three dedicated 60 minute parking stalls available. These are directly in front of the doors where you will find elevators that will take you directly to the birthing unit.

The stalls are located in front of the 1955 Building at Royal University Hospital. The 1955 Building is where the Birthing Unit is located. The doors to this building are accessible to pregnant women 24/7.

If you arrive after 9:00 p.m., just press the buzzer located on the wall next to the doors. Security will talk with you and give you access into the building.

Visitor Parking - Royal University Hospital Parkade

If you have a regularly scheduled appointment and are not in labour or your supportive partner wants to move your vehicle, please go to Visitor Parking within the parkade.

When walking into the hospital from the parkade, please proceed directly to the Information Desk. They will direct you to Maternal Registration and the Birthing Unit within the 1955 Building.

Click on the map to see where to park and how to find the right elevators to get to Maternal Registration inside the hospital.
