  • Minimum Volume: 0.5 mL
    (Submitting the minimum volume makes it impossible to repeat the test or perform confirmatory/reflex testing. In some situations, a minimum volume may require a second collection.)

  • Transport within 2 hours of collection for optimal organism recovery
  • Stable at room temperature up to 24 hours
  • Specimen must be received in laboratory within 24 hours of collection
