  • Optimal Volume: 4 mL
  • Minimum Volume: 1 mL
​Stability/Storage
  • ​Transport specimen to the laboratory immediately after collection, or store at 4°C if transport is delayed greater than 6 hours 
  • Plasma must be separated from whole blood within 24 hours of collection
  • Store plasma at 4°C and ship on ice pack within 48 hours
  • Greater than 48 hours, store at -20°C and ship frozen on dry ice
