  • ​Optimal Volume: 2.7 mL
  • Minimum Volume: 1 mL platelet poor citrated plasma
    (Submitting the minimum volume makes it impossible to repeat the test or perform confirmatory/reflex testing. In some situations, a minimum volume may require a second collection.)

  • 8 hours on cells for community

  • ​STAT Fibrinogens are available within one hour of receipt at RUH or SPH
  • All Fibrinogens less than or equal to 1 g/L will be communicated to the most responsible physician or designate
