Type	Corneal Scraping Conjuctiva Swab
Container	Scraping Preferred Collection Container: Copan UTM-RT MINI transport medium Swab Preferred Collection Container: Dacron swab (polyester-tipped) Note: Please replace flocked swab supplied with UTM Kit for the swab indicated above Copan UTM-RT MINI transport medium
Required Volume	Scraping: Optimal Volume: Entire collection
Collection Procedure	Swab Insert into 2 mL transport medium tube and break swab shaft to replace cap
Stability/Storage	Scraping/Swab: Stable at room temperature for 24 hours if sample cannot be immediately transported to laboratory Greater than 24 hours, refrigerate at 2 to 8°C
