​Is Telehealth Confidential?

Absolutely!  eHealth Saskatchewan has developed its own extremely secure, private network on Community Net that can only be accessed by authorized partners of the Telehealth Saskatchewan Program.

How do I know if my local health care facility has Telehealth? 

There are many Telehealth locations across the province.  Please check theTelehealth Saskatchewan map to find a location near you.

How can I benefit from Telehealth? 

  • Save on travel: by making it possible for patients and providers to connect without having to physically travel long distances
  • Save on expenses: by reducing the amount of money spent on travel and overnight stays
  • Save on time: by eliminating travel time and waiting periods
  • Increased patient access: by allowing patients to access specialty care throughout the province

As a patient, will I have to pay to utilize Telehealth services? 

No, there is no cost to utilize Telehealth to access health care and health related education. 

I have limited knowledge of technology.  Will I have to operate the equipment at my appointment? 

 No.  You will not be required to operate any equipment.  There is a trained Telehealth support person at your health care facility who will make sure the appointment goes smoothly.
