Health Promoting Schools Program (HPS)

Health Promoting Schools is a 'whole' school approach where students, teachers, parents, school staff, community groups, agencies and institutions work together on key priorities for improving learning and health.  The purpose is to:
1.  Improve educational outcomes of students
2.  Create conditions that support healthy school environments

Nutrition Positive Program

Nutrition Positive is about helping students eat, feel and do better in school.  It is a universal program and includes all schools from Kindergarten to Grade 12 in the Saskatoon Health Region.  Nutrition Positive provides numerous resources to help each school create its own healthy food environment.
