Parkridge Centre is supported by an outstanding care team who aspire to deliver service that reflects the rights and needs of all residents.
Our resident directed care plans place the residents at the center of their care by giving them choices. Our care team members support residents to participate in planning their care through encouraging independence, providing choice and communicating openly. Our resident, client and family centred care model supports the planning, delivery and evaluation of health care based on mutually beneficial partnerships among residents, clients, family members and our care providers.
Who are our care team members?
Our care team is a group of people who work together to meet the social, spiritual, mental and physical needs of our residents and clients. The team works together to ensure that all residents and clients area cared for as a "whole person".
Care team members may include but are not limited to physicians, nurses, continuing care aides, nurse practitioners, spiritual care providers, recreation therapists, dietitians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, psychologists, behavioral consultants and psychiatrists.
There are also important members of the care team that may not be directly involved in the care of our residents and clients but whom contribute to their wellbeing and quality of life. They may include registered volunteers, maintenance and environmental services staff, linen and laundry services staff, food services staff, finance and administrative staff.
Each care team member plays vital a part in meeting the wide-ranging needs of our residents are each held in the highest of regard.
