The Cardiac (Heart) Catheterization Laboratory comprises a group of professionals including cardiologists, technologists, nurse clinicians and support staff.

We provide diagnostic information about heart (cardiac) disease for adults and children, by taking pictures of heart arteries and valves with x-ray “dye”. If warranted, we may use various devices such as balloons and stents, to alleviate chest pain. 

We also provide specialized treatment for the children of Saskatchewan, such as closure devices to repair holes in the heart. 

We are available on an emergent and referral basis to serve patients 24hours a day.
