The Department of Medical Imaging and Nuclear Medicine provides a wide range of imaging services for inpatients and outpatients within Saskatoon and the Province of Saskatchewan.

The range of services provided within the department includes General Radiology (X-ray), Angiography/Interventional, Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Positron Emission Tomography (PET), Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine and Bone Densitometry.

Medical Imaging services are provided within Saskatoon at our four acute care sites - Royal University Hospital, Jim Pattison Children's Hospital, Saskatoon City Hospital and St. Paul's Hospital.  Thirteen rural sites provide Radiology services.

Most procedures can be performed on an outpatients basis.  Waiting times will vary depending on the demand for the services and the urgency of the request.  Check for more information under Tests and Procedures.
