Accessing Services

Accessing Services:

New clients are assessed and referred to appropriate services by a centralized Intake system.  Services referred to may include:

  • Mental Health and Addiction Services
  • Other services in the Saskatchewan Health Authority (Saskatoon Area)
  • Services in the larger community

Intake appointments can be completed over the phone by calling our Centralized Intake Line at 306-655-7777.

Psychiatric Emergencies

In case of psychiatric emergencies, please go to the Royal University Hospital Adult Emergency Department or for youth, the Jim Pattison Children's Hospital Emergency Department. The Emergency room is open 24 hours per day.

A psychiatric nurse is available daily from 12 noon to midnight to assist emergency physicians and psychiatrists with the treatment of psychiatric emergencies (e.g. suicidality, homicidality, psychosis).
