Public Service Announcement - **NEW DATE**
More roadway changes are taking effect at the Royal University Hospital site starting
SATURDAY, January 23 as Children’s Hospital of Saskatchewan construction continues.
Changes were scheduled for the
morning of January 22, but are now expected to take place January 23.
This is due to work to relocate the existing parking equipment and
ensure proper operation of that equipment before traffic patterns are
changed.
Patients and visitors are being reminded to give themselves more time to arrive at the site and park.
The roads and entrances leading into the RUH parkade will be reduced to a single lane and entry point. This is a result of the hospital’s construction zone expanding to accommodate the final footprint of the hospital and allow completion of additional piling and foundation work. These temporary road changes are expected to be in place until approximately fall of 2017.
Please drive slowly when coming to Royal University Hospital, watch for and follow signage, and give yourself plenty of time when coming to hospital for appointments or to visit.
