Patients in Regina and Saskatoon will have access to enhanced laboratory services beginning April 1, when a new multi-year contract begins with a new service provider.
Regina and Saskatoon have provided community laboratory services through a third-party company for many years. LifeLabs is the new vendor selected in the most recent public Request for Proposals process that began in December 2016. LifeLabs assumes community laboratory services in the two communities from Dynacare, which currently employs approximately 100 people in the province.
