The Royal University Hospital Foundation (RUHF) board and staff hosted their second annual pancake breakfast at RUH on March 8.
The breakfast is a way for RUH Foundation to express our gratitude towards all RUH physicians, medical teams, staff and volunteers for everything they do on a daily basis to help make exceptional health care extraordinary in our Hospital!
We'd like to thank everyone who attended and were thrilled to see close to 700 people enjoying the sausages and pancakes complete with maple syrup and strawberry sauce.
Third and fourth year University of Saskatchewan medical students partake in the pancake breakfast.
In bringing our work community together, we hope to continue to create meaningful relationships and inform staff of the many ways donors to their Foundation assist them in their work. Whether it's funding for training or education through Saskatoon Health Region Professional Development or our Scholarship Grants, or helping to make their jobs easier and patient care better through HUG Grant funding to purchase equipment or do renovations, we are eager to create a culture of gratitude throughout RUH.
Mike McKague, member of the RUHF board of directors, and Luiza Kent-Smith, RUH site leader, help out at the breakfast.
Big thanks to Courtney and her team at The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy and Compounding Centre located in the RUH main mall for sponsoring the breakfast and providing some great give-aways. And thank you to Roy Hargreaves from Facilities for his musical talents and lovely voice.
