After learning that some children are in the hospital over Christmas, seven year old Aidyn decided he wanted to make the holidays a little brighter for them. His mom, Ashley, placed a request on social media hoping to help him raise funds by collecting cans and bottles. The response they received was overwhelming! Aidyn and his family raised over $2400. Working with the staff on Acute Care Pediatrics at Royal University Hospital, Aidyn and his family purchased a variety of Christmas presents, and on December 22, made their special delivery. Among the gifts were a keyboard with stand, a drone and a six foot bear. Thank-you Aidyn for bringing Christmas spirit to our youngest patients this past holiday season!
